When 20 million people are watching a show every week, there are bound to be thousands of fan theories (and fiction) running rampant on the Internet that dissect every plot point, continuity issue, and spoiler. And for a show that has run as long as The Big Bang Theory has, viewers are bound to get impatient with the little things that seemingly never get answered or revealed. So last week, before the cast and crew of The Big Bang Theory gathered to celebrate 200 episodes (you can watch that video here), I took to social media to ask what burning questions you were dying to know. You all delivered and then some (my Twitter feed went bonkers). So, in between asking the cast if they knew how to spell Koothrappali and which character they'd want a secret one-night stand with, I grilled executive producers Steve Molaro and Bill Prady with as many questions as possible. Here you go: the 10 biggest questions about The Big Bang Theory's mysteries! Melissa Rauch, Kunal Nayyar, and Johnny Galecki surround beloved Executive Producer Steve Molaro for a celebration selfie. Will Shamy Have Coitus Before Amy's Next Birthday? Will Penny and Leonard Get Their Own Place? With three months left in season nine, the producers can't tell you what they've planned for the season finale, much less next month. 'We're not a show that works too far in advance,' admits Executive Producer Steve Molaro. 'As stressful as that can be from time to time, it really lets the growth always feel organic and natural. We've been doing it this way for a long time, so the official answer [to how far along we are with plot points for season nine] is 'Not as far as I'd like to be,' but that's OK.'
Where's Raj's Dog, Cinnamon? 'She's around,' assures Molaro, of Raj's seldom seen canine companion. 'If you're worried though, Cinnamon is clearly featured in the Big Bang Theory Lego set, so there's at least one place you can get your Cinnamon fix!'

Sheldon's Fashion Statement: Fans pay close attention to the tiniest details on The Big Bang Theory, and that extends to the guys' wardrobe, which hasn't been altered that much since season one. Still, does Sheldon's wardrobe reflect his current mood of a more mature and in love grown-up? 'I'm not aware of it,' admits Molaro. 'Maybe it's true. I don't want to say no. I'll say maybe. I think there are certain shirts on certain days, or at least it used to be, but he's been relaxing a little bit.'
Dream Guest Stars: From Bob Newhart to Adam West to Stephen Hawking, The Big Bang Theory producers have certainly delivered the most iconic guest stars ever for a sitcom, but there are still a few more on their wish-list. Who, exactly? 'Well, there are a few people in the current Star Wars that I want, including [Harrison Ford],' reveals Molaro. We only have one thing to say to that: May the force be with whoever makes that phone call.
The Story Behind Booking Stephen Hawking: The producers have TV Guide Canada to thank for one of the greatest casting coups of the last few decades. 'We heard there was an interview with [the magazine] where somebody asked him if he would ever consider doing the show, and he said yes he would,' reveals executive producer Bill Prady. But you can't just call Stephen Hawking up on the phone. 'So, people started asking around, 'How do you get a hold of Stephen Hawking?' Our science consultant, David Salzburg, started asking around in the science community. We learned that professor Kip Thorne at Cal Tech, who's a close friend of his, will send messages out [to Hawking] and then at some point an answer comes back, 'Yes, Professor Hawking will do this.' We now have the ability to call him. When we do it on Skype, it's obviously done in England, where he is, so we will send the script there, and they will record Professor Hawking and his half of the dialogue. At this point we've got a fun, casual relationship with him!'
Penny, the Aspiring Actress: At the start of season eight, our favorite blonde without a last name decided to set aside her acting dreams and become a pharmaceutical rep. Still, fans are clamoring for Mrs. Hofstadter to return to the audition circuit. 'I wouldn't rule it out,' says Molaro. 'It's something she enjoyed. Her current career is going well, but I wouldn't rule anything out.' Hmm...

The Wolowitz/Rostenkowski Baby: The cast has weighed in on the gender and name of Bernie and Howard's baby, but what about the producers, who make the final call? 'I have a thought about it,' reveals Molaro. 'I haven't made a decision. I know how I feel about it right now, and I have a very specific feeling.'
Who Will Play Howard's Dad? Now that Howard is going to be a dad and his mom, Debbie, is sadly not going to be around to torture the off-spring, will we see Howard's much-absent father make a visit? While it's a possibility, the rumors that it could be Rick Moranis (Ghostbusters, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids) currently don't have any merit. 'That is not a thing I've heard,' admits Prady. Does that mean he could potentially be in the conversation though? 'I think there's been discussion of people,' says a cryptic Prady. 'There you go.'
Will Viewers Ever Find Out Penny's Last Name? The massive mystery about Penny's maiden name has never been revealed, but it was never intended to become the conversation piece among fans that it has. So at what point did producers realize it had taken on a life of its own? 'I don't know,' admits Prady. 'It just became superstition.' Will it ever be revealed? 'Uh, I don't know,' is all a noncommittal Prady will say.
Is the Elevator Ever Going to Work? While a broken elevator allows for all those walk-and-talk stair scenes, one would have never though in season one that it still would be broken in season nine. So, will the yellow tape ever come down—and will viewers ever get to see a Penny/Leonard elevator make-out scene? 'We think about it all the time,' says Prady. Does that mean it could happen? 'Well, we think about a lot of things!' (In other news, we give up).
